Here’s a simple and quick recipe for you to try at home.

Prep time : 5 minutes

Cooking time : 15 minutes

Serves : 2

Ingredients 

  1. Oil - 20ml
  2. Paneer - 150g
  3. Green Peas - 50g
  4. Cream - 50ml
  5. Khowsuey Curry Paste - 80g
  6. Salt - To taste 
  7. Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp
  8. Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  9. Garam Masala - 1 tsp

Method

  1. Cut paneer into cubes. 
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the Khowsuey Curry Paste, add chopped tomatoes and cook till they turn soft.
  3. Add the dried spices and cover for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the paneer cubes and simmer for 8-10 minutes. 
  5. Add the green peas and cook for a further minute. 
  6. Finish with cream and a generous sprinkle of Kasuri Methi on the top.
  7. Serve with flaky malabar parathas, garnished with chopped coriander and some cream.
